George Lepp is a very accomplished Photographer, author and has judged in the past at the Fresno International. He takes some wonderful images of the California Golden Poppy.

Unfortunately this will clash with the September Meeting of the Fresno Camera Club.

The June meeting will be on Tuesday the 17th at 7PM as usual. It will be a slide night and the program will be the Saguaro Nature International. We will also present the Youth Showcase Awards.

The may meeting is at Hope Lutheran on Tuesday May 20th.

Great attendance at the March meeting, and with the new 4 images, any style rules, entries were very high. So high in fact that the judging took much longer than usual.

Look to the Highlights for news of any rules changes.

Wildflowers including Lupen and Poppies are in full bloom at Pine Flat and Piedra. They are especially abundant at the trimmer springs turn off.

The address for the San Joaquin Valley Camera Club Council is http://www.sjvccc.org. It may take a day or two for the DNS to filter through all the servers. There is also a new email address for digital submissions:- submissions@sjvccc.org. The old one will continue to work for this year at least.

I have added a space for Tips and Tutorials, I will be slowly padding out these pages. So far I have included past tips and tutorials from the Highlights. I would like to build as extensive a library as possible for this website.
